Winner of the 2005 AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) typography award, the Photogram ABC poster is one of the most unique alphabet posters we've seen.
Each letter is captured by placing objects on photosensitive paper and then exposing them to light. The objects here are found, recycled or reused. Babies love high-contrast black and white images and we think this would really capture their attention.
It's modern and graphic enough that it could also find a home in an adult setting. Designed by the Providence-based design firm, Dutch Osborne Design, it can be purchased for $68 here.

This would be a great project for kids to do at home. All you need is a small cyanotype kit, which typically runs about $20 and they can have fun doing it themselves on whatever medium you wish...
wow! fantastic
