Well this is neat! Good news is that the quiz picked two color combos that I currently have in my bedroom and bathroom. So, I guess it works!
Didn't give me the colors I perfer but fun to take the quiz.
Yeah, I also got colors I'm already using. So, I'm guessing that if someone wasn't so sure about their color preferences, this'd be a great resource for them. Very cool!
Really didn't care for the color combos the first time through, and retook the quiz, changing a few answers the second time through, making sure the answers were still accurate. Still didn't care for the colors. Guess I'll stick with picking colors at the paint store--it's always worked before!
oh wow, i really didn't like the colors.
interesting idea tho!
Creative-check. Outgoing-check. You give me 3 shades of grey and a grey-blue? Huh? Not my style at all! Its always fun to take a quiz thought!
This is a bit of fun. At least 2 of the combinations I have already in my home!
bland, drab, dingy looking palate it gave me =^(. Despite the fact that I answered "strong bold deep colors" rather than "pale-whatever-it-was" colors in that question.
Also, it was all cool colors, .which I find draining. I prefer warm colors -- autumn palates and deep jewel-tones. (I'm particularly surprised at this, since I chose "fall" for the season, which is generally associated with warm colors, autumn palates (duh), and deep jeweltones.)
And it didn't offer Metal as one of the music choices!
Tone of voice and facial expression being absent in posts, I should probably add a =^). '
This is a silly little quiz, I don't think any of us were expecting it to be profoundly insightful. Just a bit of fun.
Didn't like any of the color combos from several tries. Guess I'll go back to the old-fashioned, ignorant way of looking at a color and picking it if I like it!!
Surprisingly, it gave me colours I have in my house (or close enough), as well as one I am considering. Didn't think it would work, but it did.
I got some interesting colors, but the palettes are a little disappointing. I don't want one bringt color with two forgetable neutrals, I want to combine the peacock blue, fresh pinapple and sun baked orange. Thats a color palette. :)
I didn't like the answer choices nor the colors it gave me.
I always over-think these things. I like all of the vacation choices. Then I start to feel pressured to pick one. At this point I'm starting to analyze what it means that I think I'd like to visit a museum a little bit more than I'd like to go hiking on a mountain, but I'm not sure because I'd really like to do both. I agonize over my decision a little longer and finally decide on museum. I pick "outgoing" and "happy", although I might be "quiet" and "serious", it really depends on the day. I feel l like I should call my friends and ask them what they think of me, but that might be a little too much effort. After it's all said and done, the results are yellow and blue. That's okay, but not really doing a whole lot for me. Maybe I'll try mountain, quiet and serious to see what I get.
Also answered honestly, hated all the results. I also chose fall, and was surprised that the choices did not include the reds, deep blues, yellows and greens I live surrounded by in my home. Have the impression that the underlying choice range for colors in this program are limited by someone's idea of what is both modern and trendy. I saw the color choices it suggested as working in mid-century ranch houses, with southwestern style decor, and not the 100+ year-old apartments I live in. I was going to retake the test, but I realized that if my choices didn't result in deep primary colors (fall, hiking, comfortable, outgoing - you would think those choices might result in a blue that's not a teal, more than one green, instead of just one muted green matched with muddy accent colors, and at least one red or yellow), that my colors likely aren't in their collection at all. They aren't in a lot of paint companies' range of colors, and are often found only in specially created 'historic' color collections. Fail.
Stupid questions, horrible color choices. Still, it's paint color, can't get too worked up about it.
Oh, if only we could write in our own answers! Awkward punk and synthpop listener whose favorite vacations have been hikes because she can't afford pina coladas on the beach, who loves summer but is dressing a studio around a sculpture of fall leaves...guess I'm on my own for this one! :)
it didn't have electronic as a music choice. i didn't really fall into a lot of the categories they had selected for answer. gave me a lot of yellow shades. i hate yellow. i have very pale skin and blonde hair and it does not compliment me in any way. oh well, it was fun to take.
Total miss for my colors, but it was fun.
Took the quiz and got really drab colors. But they would probably work for painting walls if you weren't going to use the wall color as a room feature. And just because I love fall for its vibrant colors and bright sunny days doesn't mean that I want brown rooms in my house - I really dislike brown, never wear it, and certainly wouldn't paint my walls that color! I remember taking a color quiz a while ago that showed a series of groups of colors, and you picked your favorite from each group. That one gave me some interesting palettes - wish I could remember the source!
None of the questions offered me options that REALLY match my life or taste. Not one. So, predictably, the colors were so far off it's laughable.
I guess I'm not "standard issue" in any way!
I knew that! ;^)
