Is chevron the new damask? Yes! And while the selection of chevron fabrics on the market is growing, you may find yourself in need of a particular color that you just cannot find anywhere. So how about cutting and stitching up some striped fabric?

We found this forehead-slapper idea over at a blog called U Handbag, and although handbags aren't within our scope, we certainly can think of a ton of uses for custom chevron fabric around the nursery. Check it out for an easy tutorial on turning striped fabric into a chevron pattern. So clever!
