It's hard to get away from using pink in the nursery when you are decorating for a baby girl. But how to keep it from looking too saccharine?
Temper it with a sophisticated neutral grey. We love the rich slate grey walls of this nursery designed by Kenneth Brown for his daughter. The grey walls balance the many hits of pink in the room in the artwork, butterflies, bedding and drapery.

Love the painting. Any word on where/who it's from?
Hi chandlertoth:
I love the painting as well. All I could find out was that Kenneth Brown picked up the vintage painting in a store in Palm Springs. No word on the artist though.

Thanks Janie. I'll just have to paint one myself!
what color gray is that? I was amazed at all the pink that comes with a girl and have been looking for a dark gray to replace the avocado green
Love it and love the light fixture. Kenneth Brown has lots of good advice; too bad his new BRU line looks so matchy-matchy generic.
This is a great look. I really dig that gray on the walls.
Anyone know where this bedding is from?!!
