We're a big fan of chalkboard paint. Not only does it change a regular wall into a fun, useful space, it also adds great visual impact to a room. But why just go with regular chalkboard paint? What about using pink chalkboard paint?
Over at Eck Life a simple $5 flea market find is transformed into a pretty pink chalkboard frame. The Bergström family home is featured in Hus & Hem and shows how a pink bedroom can use pink chalkboard paint to make over a door into so much more. And finally, CosmoGIRL shows how you can create a girlie chalkboard -- perfect for a teen or 'tween room -- with a few simple items: some plywood, faux flowers and paint.

A question for renters- If I paint a wooden door with chalkboard paint, then my boys' chalk it up for a couple of years, will I be able to paint over the chalkboard paint with regular paint?
I have been so very in love with chalk board paint lately. Thanks for the great resource. I think pink would look absolutely lovely on my vases with the word bloom written in for spring- A project I will have to tackle soon! http://thecitycradle.com/valentines-day-vases-modern-homemade-d-i-y Thanks.
We have a whole wall of the playroom painted in pink chalkboard paint. Love it!!
Ok, I grew up having that white lattice oval mirror in my bedroom! The weirdest part is that I've seen my 30-year-old mirror on two different blogs recently. Maybe I need to go steal it from my parents' house and make something out of it. (Anybody want to buy it??)
I can't wait to find a use for chalkboard paint! We have a boy and a neutral color scheme, so probably won't go for pink, though. :)
