Thanks to my Catholic school upbringing, I've long associated pink and purple with Advent and Lent wreaths. It may make for fond memories of school crafts, but I've never been inspired to decorate with it. Lately, however, it's been showing up in lovely home goods, and I may just change my mind.

Oooh... I've had pink on my mind. I want to paint my lack coffee table a glossy, sort of "Barbie" pink. I would have thought a pink/purple color combo would be too much, but these examples are pretty.
Just painted our new master bedroom Benjamin Moore "Love Affair", a plum raisin shade. Mixing with it is copper, rust & deep raspberry shades. Love the warmth with lamp light & the pop in the daytime.
Our dining room is pink and purple. It's definitely a break from the norm, but we love it.

That first painting would look fab in it!
the painting is gorgeous!
@ANNIE-O: I saw that painting on OneKingsLane today. I don't know if they are prints or what.
My living room is kind of retro and I have blue teal, a dirty lime and want to accent with hot pink - but can't find any affordable cute pillows to use on the couch. I want the accent pillows from my youth - the square ones made of raw silk with the button in the middle. May have to make - but worried about the button! Lots of help on the internet, tho!
