A while back, Annie shared with us her dislike of purple. I feel the same way about pink so I too, decided to challenge myself to find pink rooms I actually sort of liked.
I noticed that with the exception of one, the rooms that appealed to me the most had interesting architectural elements to them or a cool piece of furniture that made the room interesting. Don't you just love the tile floor in the first image?

two of those rooms are white with pink furnishings
I love pink. I loathe white coordinated with pastel pink, as all of these pics present it. Pink can be as strong and energetic as red when mixed up in rich saturated hues and combined with other strong colours like orange or ultramarine, as is common in India and Morocco. This washy pastel pink almost always looks self-consciously 'boudoir' to me, no matter what kind of room it's used in.
I like the bathroom...it stops there. I just can't stand Prissy Pink.
I am always surprised when I like pink anywhere, though I confess I don't like it in any of these rooms.
I like the first two spaces - but not so excited about the last 3.
I like the first one, it helps to have beautiful tile and molding any color would look good in that room. The bathroom is pretty the rustic wood plays well with that stone wash pink.
I love this all pink tiled bathroom, it was post here before-

Yep. Still hate pink.
I love pink in the right conditions. The only photo in this group that I could stand is the last one, but it's only got pink accents.

She has painted half the rooms in her house a pink, and I do not despise any of them. They are all gorgeous. She manages to make them warm and cozy without being to girly or look like Valentine's Day threw up in the room.
Love the chairs in the first photo.
Anyone know where they are from?
in contrast, examples of pink rooms that have balls:

I love pink.
I hate this kind of candy pink. If you are going to do pink, go BOLD. None of these rooms apealed to me at all.
I'm not crazy about any of these rooms. I prefer a bolder pink as opposed to the Hello Kitty pink.
Faux no.
I'm not a fan of pink rooms, in general, but I'm starting to see more that I like...
Here are a few other rooms on Opaline that I liked... I thought I'd hate hot pink, but Betsey Johnson's house makes it look tolerable.

Anyone for pepto-bismo? Yes, you can add me to the despise pink list. I don't wear pink either.
I like pink, mainly as aan accent color though.. I've got a cool origami pillow cover in pink paisley for sale at www.wharfsisters.etsy.com if you wanna take a gander!
I love pink. That first room is great, I adore the paint effect on the pink wall. Paired with white, or a soft green or yellow, pink is a great accent color too.
I like the first and the last. The bathroom would make me feel ill every morning.
I love the tile or linoleum on the floor in the first picture. My favorite pink is the bold color in the third picture. Yummy!
I do NOT love pink. I'm sorry, but I still don't like these. The last one is alright. I think the way for me to swallow pink in interior decor is a really dark pink. And maybe even coupled with red to be complete antithesis to "pink-ness".
