Saturation is another way of describing a color's intensity. It's not always related to how light or dark the color is — i.e. how much white, black or grey has been added to the pure color-wheel color — but how weak or strong the color is.
Which blue-pink combinations do you prefer, high saturation or low?

Shaw's Original Fir...
I'm totally trying to use this color palette in my formal living room. I'm happy with the saturated shades on my side chairs and pillows. Now I'm trying to get it in on the other half of the room through some artwork. A total work in progress, but if you won't judge TOO much, here's a peek. (Scroll down to Living Room)

This is my favorite color combo. Bright, sophisticated and just beautiful! I especially love the third picture: am I really seeing a knife and a fork on curtain panels? Does anyone know where I could find those?
I love these colors! - The Nesting Game, your home is beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
I absolutely love this color combination and am working on it on a small scale (accessories) in my bedroom. I could just about eat up every one of these rooms (metaphorically, obviously). My favorites are probably images 2 and 4.
I love the combination of the blue aqua and pink--they were my wedding colors!
Obviously I love this combination, but it totally blew my mind seeing my room up there with all of those amazing rooms!
I have to say, if number 2 were mine, I'd probably never get out of bed. If number 6 were mine, I'd probably get out of bed, but I'd never leave my room!
The colors in a number of these rooms give an attractive tropical beach feeling. I generally am more attracted to saturated colors, although a little goes a long way.
I am dying to get this color in picture number 5 does anybody know what paint color I can try that is even close? IT is beautiful and would like to color my closet this color....
