If ever there was an apt use of the term "eye candy", this rug seems to qualify splendidly. The rugs, designed by Hay (a Danish company), are handcrafted in Nepal using felted, 100% pure new wool...

We first spotted these beauties on Kellits. The Hay Pinocchio rug, named after a Danish licorice, is available in three colorways: multicolored, aubergine, and purple. Of course these rugs aren't inexpensive, given the amount of work that goes into them. The 35 inch rug is $292 and the 55 inch rug is $715. It looks like you can order them from Moletamunro.

Very colorful, indeed. I saw exactly like this for a small jewelry-like box or for a small purse at a DC's Eastern Market, one of its flea markets. The creator of those items was originally from Tibet!
i have a purse like this! always gets the "aw cutes" when it goes out for the evening.
Cute rugs, but prices are in pounds sterling on the website.
gah, this would look perfect in the my kitchen!
damn my college student income.
I love this so much!
Wow! I love it! But it looks like a tripping hazard..
It looks so cozy! I'd love one in a child's room...
Marvelous project for a long, cold, obsessive compulsive winter. I think I just might tackle it.
I love those. I'll take any of them. But, isn't purple and aubergine the same?
£225.00 = $327.41, as the £ is at $1.46. Which is a lot for a bunch of pompoms stuck together.
looks cool, but I'm guessing it wouldn't hold up very well
Maybe it would be more fun to hang it on a wall.
awwwweeeeeesome. must have this. too bad it is way out of my price range. maybe i'll call the suze orman show and ask if I can afford it.
Cute - makes me want to roll on it!
Thought about making it myself, but am afraid that it would be less expensive to order it already made :(
