Manhattan Clean Line is a small, mysterious company that started building furniture as a solution for cramped New York apartments and a general lack of inventive furniture. See more pipe works after the jump...
The bed is the first piece that caught our eye. With their combination of raw materials and polished construction, Manhattan Clean Line aims to create pieces that are "industrial but not soulless." We like the basic shape and unobtrusive steel frame of this bed. A full size frame (seen here) costs $475.

Besides the items in their catalogue, Manhattan Clean Line also welcomes custom requests and will work with businesses and shops to design product displays or furniture. For a limited time, this small company is offering a lower-cost test program. Through β-Testing, customers can snap up prototype pieces for not much more than the cost of materials.

perfect DIY project. brilliant!
I can see this as a DIY thing. Not paying that much for a pipe bed.
Or you could just build one yourself. Check instructables.com and do a search for "pipe bed"
Hitting one's head on the upper 'headboard' pipe of that bed wouldn't be a pleasant way to wake up.
can anyone identify the blanket on that bed?
vhsdr, it's Calvin Klein.
Perfect for the S&M Dungeon...
...Leather sheets and handcuffs anyone?
by the way, they've got Joy Division and Bowie's Low cds. i can dig that.
I can see it now... I would absolutely destroy my head by smashing it against that pipe frame as I woke up some morning.
