The Piper Bed is the latest addition to Room & Board's line for children. The powder-coated steel bed is a stock item in white, but the special order options caught our eye and grabbed our imagination.
The Piper Bed can be ordered in silver, yellow, orange, ocean (light blue), navy, green, blossom (pink) and red. It is made in Minnesota and available in twin ($599) and full ($699).

cute, but i worry about the bouncing on the bed and landing hard when the corners are STEEL! Ouch! We get enough head bangs on the wooden beds, wouldn't want to contend with this.
I love this, but share the concern about my kiddo bouncing into the bed with these corners! Anyone have ideas for a modern but not-too-pricey kids bed that won't result in another ER visit for us anytime soon?
