The birth of Tom Beshara's first daughter, inspired the Pirolette. As Tom says, "My secret, it was a personal memory of when my daughters were so young. What the Pirolette turned into was a conversation piece. Someone would start to look at it, maybe they would see one of my daughter's faces...maybe they wouldn't...but it never failed, they would always ask what it was."

9-29-turnyourhead2.jpgTom now makes Pirolettes to order. Send a photo of your loved one in profile and, using a lathe, he'll transform it into a solid hardwood mini-baluster. We find them subtle and endearing. And if you are intent on giving the product a purpose, other than chotchka in your home, incorporate it into an heirloom piece of furniture for your child.
