Take a gander at these modern, smart, chic, and sustainable designs from the Mexico City-based manufacturing collective Pirwi. The young company has teamed up with Kirk, a modern design gallery in Austin's newest and hottest part of town, the Second Street District, to bring their pieces to the U.S. market. Pirwi is committed to green design, not only because it produces sustainable goods, but also because forms of nature are reflected in their pieces. And better yet, their work is offered at reasonable price points...

The Pirwi collective now involves a dozen designers and more than 70 pieces. Priority number one for Pirwi is the environment, so every aspect of their business —from manufacturing to sourcing to disposal— is done with the preservation of the planet at the forefront of their minds.

The furniture became available in-store earlier this month, and online sales with shipping throughout the U.S. will be available soon on Kirk's site. Make it a point to peruse all the gorgeous pieces. You won't want to leave the gallery empty-handed, that's for sure.
