I was browsing through the inspirational images on Pinterest today and came across this bedroom image with a plaid wall. It is interesting to see how plaid has transitioned through fashion and interiors.

Plaid is generally considered to be very traditional and preppy. I love how the designer of this bedroom took a bold risk and incorporated the plaid pattern into an otherwise stark, modern aesthetic.

Seeing how great the plaid pattern looks juxtaposed against modern furnishings has sparked my curiosity to find other examples of the mixing of styles. What do you think about integrating plaid patterns into modern homes? Could it work in any room in the home?
