In spite of the fact that you have to order this toy from Switzerland, we have to share the Plama Marble Run. You can build your own abstract art version of a traditional marble toy and have wall art at the same time.
The Plama Marble Run is the brainchild of Swiss design studio Bernhard Burkard. There are twelve magnetic pieces that attach to anything magnetic, and they can be arranged in myriad designs and formations. Pieces come in complementary colors with interesting lines that easily combine into a fun path for a marble and a sleek-looking design element.
Available online from Bernhard Burkard.

I love this! Wonder if I could come up with a DIY version? Hmmmn...
I would have killed for this as a kid! That is too cute!
I love this, want this, need this... wait, over $150??! I'm with Christina on the DYI version.
HOLY COW!!! What a great idea! I've been looking for a cool idea for my two sons' shared bedroom, and I found it. I'm going to do a huge marble run on the big empty wall. Thank you!
In my son's school (in Holland) they have a cool one too: http://www.schoolmaterialen.nl/contents/nl/d934_Macktrack.html
