Plans Uncertain for Berkeley Art Museum's Brutalist Building

In December, Berkeley Art Museum vacated its famous Mario Ciampi-designed Brutalist building. The structure had failed several attempts to meet California's earthquake codes. The school hopes to further renovate to meet seismic standards, including closing in the galleries and atrium.
