There's been an abundance of new designs for planters and pots making their rounds online in the past few weeks — here are some of our favorites from a variety of design-spotting sites!
• 1 Grassroots Modern | NEW: Modern Planters from Wallter — aluminum planters in 3 styles: Post, Wall & Hang. Each style is available in orange, mustard, teal and white. $70 - $90 from Wallter. Via notcot.org
• 2 Design Milk | Flying Green by Studio Klass — a modular container gardening system that can be freestanding or wall-mounted.
• 3 Design Milk | Atesta by SeriesD — these outdoor planters are designed with 2 flat edges to encourage organic groupings and interaction with the environment.
• 4 Grandiflora — high-end fiberglass planters from Tectona.
• 5 Abitare | Floreta — a prototype for a pot made of neoprene, jute and nylon by Carlo Trevisani. Via notcot.org

Yay for Wallter! I'm crazy about those planters. Heard they'll be available in September - can't wait!!
I love all of these it's so hard to choose a favorite, but the Studio Klass ones are awesome because there's even a matching watering can.
I love those hanging planters but 70-90 dollars? It looks like someone cut a water/soda bottle on an angle, painted it and added some wire to hang it. I'm unsure why it would cost almost a 100 dollars for such a thing.
We used to make these out of bleach bottles and glue a bamboo stake to it.
my thoughts exactly, Blarg.
Anybody know the name of the plant in the blue and yellow hanging planters?
Thx.
HappyHermit, The plant is called "Fish Hooks" it's a type of succulent.
i came here just to say that the wallter planter looks like a cut clorox bottle on a stick. : )
Thanks, lkgeiser!
