We've been thinking a lot about indoor air quality over the past few weeks. It's Bedroom Month
, and we think the greenest thing you can do in your bedroom is to breathe clean air.
Some people use air purifiers, other people open their windows, and another group of people use plants to clean their indoor air.
We've been reading about the potential air purifying power of certain plants for some time now -- but we also know that there are plenty of people who think those exact air purifying claims are bunk. What do you think?
We were pretty intrigued when we came across this post at Treehugger -- apparently, regardless of the air purifying stuff, new research has shown that plants have a healing influence on hospital patients. We think that is amazing. And we totally buy it. When our cats don't eat our indoor plants, they always make us feel better.
