PlantTherapy: A Stop In at GRDN

GRDN is on a quiet street, a gem that one stumbles upon suddenly. When we visited it was cool and breezy in the shop, and the back garden was buzzing with the activity of birds, bees and butterflies. Just for that alone the shop is a great stop when you are in the neighborhood.

It is worth noting that right now they are having a large store sale. It's a great chance to get selected gardening supplies at a great price. There are more details after the jump...

Although AT has written on them before, every season is different at a garden shop. They supply beautiful cut flowers, indoor/outdoor plants, and gardening books and accessories. I also should mention that Susanne, the store's owner, has chosen a great selection of more modern planters and very useful garden tools than what shows up in the slideshow. My biggest fault at garden shops is that I get wrapped up in the plants, which GRDN has many of, and forget the rest! They also currently have a large supply of the
colorful tub trugs that Maxwell wrote about some time ago.

The accessories and tools they carry are well represented on their website (a rarity for garden shops), but there is still much more stocked in the actual store.

The sale includes:

  • Outdoor Plants 25% off
  • Outdoor Containers 40% off
  • John Derian Company Decoupage 30% off
  • Fermob Outdoor Furniture 25% off
  • and much more.
