A last set of pictures of plants and flowers in the Fall Colors Contest (but by no means all). Jamie's place had that great pink/coral color that was matched so well in those three arrangements, acting like a unifying color hub between the artwork and pieces of furniture...
Not sure why I kept looking at these flowers. I think these roses look so good next to the peaches. And when compared to the cool feeling of the rest of the room this simple tabletop arrangement seems to glow like soft gold-leaf.
Taking color from the painting was a great idea. It's fun to travel from the painting to the flowers, down to the vase, over to the pillow and back up to the painting again.
Something about just two bright flowers in a vase and the matching of that yellow feels so happy. And I love the fact that the subtle stripes in the vase echo the wall stripes.
These three were all about the vase, which also was fun to see:

I know it's a kinky combo, but I love this aparment! It could all be a tad darker. DUNNO cancel everything I just love it. Looks cozy, yet fun fun fun. INSTA FINALIST
DAMNIT contest ended - don't drink and blog... LOVE jamie's place. hope this counts, only marginally, but hope it counts.
Jamie-
I only put these up because the voting has indeed ended. I didn't want to get in trouble for swaying the voting results! That said, there were some great uses for flowers across the entries. I think it is a great way to enhance or pull together a space - and just as valid as the more permanent changes one might make, like paint, wallpaper, curtains, etc;
those are some cool peach chairs. i'm not a fan of the color, but i love the chairs.
