PlantTherapy: AT Plant Roundup

This week The Kitchen is kicking off a month of kitchen gardening (!), beautiful garden creations at Ohdeedoh, fantastic tire vessels from Re-nest, a call for orchid advice and best small planters at AT:LA, poison ivy is proliferating over at AT: SF, and nasturtiums from last year's flowerbox awards!

The Kitchen is gardening this month! Follow the link to pose questions for Jennifer Bartley, their guest expert for the month.

Beautiful creations from garden flowers by Elsita via Ohdeedoh. Reminds me of Saxton Freymann's Play With Your Food book!

These DWR tubs and planters are beautiful reincarnations for tires and would love to have them for our own garden.

AT:LA asks for advice and wonders if the bathroom can be the perfect orchid environment. Anyone orchid aces out there with advice for them?

AT:LA gives us nice list of planter links for vertical gardens, patios and just plain ol' tiny spaces.

AT:SF spotted poison ivy and are looking for ways to get rid of it safely. It's hard to believe that this plant group that can harm us can also produce beautiful lacquer!

Last year Art received nasturtium seeds from Select Seeds for sharing his planters with us - this is such a nice surprise to see them put to good use (pic is a nasturtium blossom garnishing an 'amuse bouche' Art & Chel whipped up)!
