PlantTherapy: Dramatic Illuminated Peony Blossom

It's an easy centerpiece idea that we see often on AT, but this was a perfect flower choice (and peonies will be gone soon - might as well get our fill!). The light going through the petals and being contained by the loose cupped shape made this one blossom glow...

An instance where just the right flower choice in just the right conditions looked incredible. One large, open blossom floating in water at the Ted Muehling store on Howard, btwn. Broadway and Lafayette. They used one of their overhead spot lights for their jewelry to illuminate the blossom from above.

Along with the fairly dark lighting and the undulating lip of the bowl, it felt like we were peering out from a pond as the water gently rocked.
