A beautiful, wild front yard in Brooklyn
Once Labor Day passes by, it almost becomes an unavoidable hobby in finding the little ways that fall is descending. This weekend we are taking off to play, to enjoy the weather for what it is - beautiful and summery. I'll leave you with a few images of some very tall flowers still embracing the warm sun and the long days...
These plants are vibrant from their spot in the full sun. Even the blossoms that are curling a bit look like they might spring back to life at any moment. A content plant can often seem like a person who is happy with their place in life.
These wild flowers were contained neatly by the fence (except for one escapee) that ran the perimeter of the front yard acting like a ribbon on a large bouquet. Last week much was said on having a wild front yard. A nice fence does indeed go a long way.
My guess is that these are a type of Coreopsis or something in the Aster family, but would love to hear from one of our plantofiles out there. If they are Coreopsis, they are extremely tall, in the area of five feet!
