What a predicament we are in, according to the LA Times. It used to be that big money was spent on the finding (or building) the perfect hutch to hide away an ugly TV when it wasn't being used. These days, with everyone (but us) plunking down ten grand for stadium-sized plasma screens, seems like the acceptable etiquette of hiding one’s TV has shifted to one of huge pride over the monstrosities. No more media armoire's in this house. But truly, what is worse than a huge screen TV over the mantle? Sorry to say, but the answer is Nothing. Nevertheless, Plasma Window has some neat rolling DVDs of fish tanks, et al. But if those are too shticky for you, click on Hide and Chic from Media Decor which rolls up when it’s time for Desperate Housewives…er, we mean 60 Minutes. AH
