We often find ourselves at a friends home asking about a unique piece of decor, only to find out it was picked up at a second hand store. Recently, we were browsing through Curious Girl's blog and wondered the same thing about her mid-century modern light.
Although we soon found out that this neat light was vintage (meaning no replicate to buy) we were pointed to the Etsy store where the light was purchased. At Bohemian Vintage, we were delighted to find a handful of immediate favorites. For starters, a terrarium foot stool is bound to stand out in anyone's living room as the hot topic of conversation. We also loved her atomic magazine holder and delicate shaped bowls for corralling items. In addition the shops owner, Mina, has her own blog dedicated to showcasing each item making the shopping experience that much sweeter.

Sorry to spoil the fun, but that light is not vintage. It is from Pier One. I own the same light. They no longer sell this style, but I have seen similar ones there.

Pier One's lamp is actually a bit larger. They often times use vintage items and reproduce them, which is the case here.
either way, I love it.
