But there's another way to construct this hybrid by using shelves as... you guessed it, drawers. And the result is a great playspace that allows you to keep everything organized and accessible.

Danya from He Adopted Me First came up with this idea for all her kids' Playmobil sets. After spending hours setting them up, kids can get frustrated with putting them away when they might want to play with that set for days. Just ask my boys and their Lego sets. With this solution, you can have multiple areas set up simultaneously, and when it's time to clean up, simply push the shelf back into its space.
