Along with the yesterday's new Sony 160GB Bundle announcement at Leipzig was the release of the wireless keypad for the DUALSHOCK 3 controller. It looks similar to Xbox 360's chatpad, but instead connects to the controller through the top USB port used on the controller. The keypad will also enable "touchpad mode for mouse input." More explanation on how that all works after the jump.
Since it's all Bluetooth to begin with, the system will automatically detect once the keypad is connected to the controller. Of course, this will most likely come into effect after a firmware update or some sort, but we think the coolest part is that ability to turn the keypad into a touchpad. With a touch of a button, you can turn the entire keypad surface into a huge touchpad, allowing easy browsing on the web.
