The Lego train is still going strong. Just one click into our Lego archives and you'll find such brilliant ideas as a Lego radiator, glowing block Lego lights and a super secure Lego safe. But we can safely say that none of them are the product of a high-school modification mastermind like this simple Lego Playstation...

This mod is the work of a clever high schooler who completed the project one night when he and a bored buddy wanted to "make something weird."

He basically just gutted his PS and built it into a custom Lego case, which makes the whole thing a simple geek maelstrom of awesome.

The kids got bigger dreams, too. He's now working on a remote-control "shopping bot" that he can send down to the local 7-11. "It will hand the cashier a credit card and get the receipt and bring it back. It's going to be quite a challenge," he says.
