Pods planters are hand spun aluminum with an exterior-grade powder coat finish, making them suitable planters for both indoor and outdoor applications. Ultra-lightweight and available in six colors with steel stands available in two different heights to be mixed and matched for visual interest. These planters are yet to be released, being officially unveiled at the Dwell On Design show in Los Angeles, June 26th - 27th, but you can contact Pad Outdoor for local retailer information (both A+R Venice and Plastica here in Los Angeles are likely to carry these once released).
We've been long time fans of the Midcentury era bullet planters that take us back to the heydays of outdoor Palm Springs chic and Valley modernist indoor plants. We feel the same sort of affinity for these new line if planters designed just down the street from us by Pad. The Pods are about to showcased at the upcoming Dwell on Design Show, but Thomas Robertson dropped us an email preview of these colourful powder coated recyclable aluminum planters...perfect for either indoor or outdoor plants.

Ooh I like these!
Lovely, but I wish they weren't so shiny.
Okay, totally beyond cool. Not only in form and design...but the colors are simply amazing... I actually like how glossy they are.
i i'm in love with the shiny turquoise ones!
Wow, now those are sexy planters!
Any idea how much they will be?
okay, i am getting these.
Wow, it looks like someone actually commented on these Pods just to post their own site and promote themselves! Ha! The architectural pottery has been around for too long, its nice to see something new, and finally something that one person can get off the ground"
They look a little too much like dog watering bowls to me. It is a cute idea.
