Polaroids make this wreath less frou-frou than many, and more of a clean-cut and graphic holiday decoration. This one was made for the fall season, but you could make one for just about any occasion.
Created by Kathy of Merriment Design, we spotted the wreath at How I DIY. We love the seasonal detail photographs used in her wreath.
We're also thinking this could be a cool way to use old holiday polaroids that might currently be sitting in a box or closed up in an album. Pick the choicest shots to make a wreath of retro holiday memories!

I like this idea with pictures of friends or family! It would make a great grandma present!
Um, didn't Polaroid stop making instant film?

Over a year ago, I think...
How lovely to see this posted on one of my favorite blogs today! I actually made this wreath--which incorporates my photographs--with Kathy. I used to purchase my Polaroid film online and it has been next to impossible to find lately. I stumbled across this article though:

There is hope. Fingers crossed...
No more Polaroid film. No more Santa photos with a tiny thumb print mashed into the corner. Sigh.
love this!!
Fun idea! Might be a good way to display my stacks of polaroids around the holidays ...
muffingirl & bepsf & GreatFriend -- Polaroid stopped making instant film, but The Impossible Project is producing NEW film in 2010 that will work in sx-70 and 600 cameras:

Just to echo the comments above by Heather @inspiredbyeverything we had a ball working together on creating this project. Heather not only took the amazing photographs that we used for this project but she also has a ton more at Flickr. She has such an eye. Check it out...!!

You can also make a similar wreath using old Christmas cards.
