While Ania's home office is nothing extraordinary in the tech sense, it is super cute and we just had to feature it. Ania lives in in Cracow, Poland (the land of my people!) in a three-room apartment that used to belong to her grandparents. She now shares it with three roommates, though there are plans for her and her fiancée to live in it on their own someday soon. Ania studies History and Culture of Jews as well as Cultural Animation at Jagiellonian University, so she has to sit at her desk writing papers a lot. To make her workspace more comfortable (and inspiring) Ania found a desk on the Polish version of eBay, Allegro
, for $6. She painted it with a mixture of stain and lacquer. The little cups filled with office supplies are super cute and go well with her large clamp desk lamp that helps illuminate her laptop workspace...
We really love the red and white theme of the entire room -- though the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. It has a very Polish patriotic feel to it, especially with the vintage polish folk pieces Ania has sprinkled throughout the place. We've included photos of a few other corners of Ania's home, despite the lack of technology, because they are just too inspiring. The kitchen is killing us! The cabinet within is an original from when her grandparents lived in the space.
