Striped nurseries, be it on vertical, horizontal, on the ceiling, or on the floor, have been big in recent times. Polka dots, however, are a rarer sight. If you're thinking about doing a polka dot theme, check out this bespotted nursery.
The gray and yellow color combination is a winner and we love that the polka dots go from gray to shimmery silver. It's a great wall treatment without being overpowering. If you're curious, the polka dots are cut from silver contact paper. You can get a full tutorial over at Our Dream Foreclosure. I love polka dots. We settled on polka dots for our nursery (though not on the walls, we handpainted a Disney silhouette mural for the ceiling lol) Everyone has stripes, but polka dots are always fun!
Where is that elephant from? I want one!
Wow, when I read the tag line I thought, "Oh no... polka dots..." but this was a great surprise! Love it!
