We have quite a bit of tissue paper left over from the pom poms we made for our daughter's birthday, so we were thinking a bunch of white ones might add an ethereal quality to our holiday decor...

Looks like we're not the first ones to think of using those little guys as a frugal decoration. Caroline made these pretty gold ones and strung ornaments from them as well. You can even make mini pom poms and string them into a garland for your tree.
