Pom Pom Furniture! MYK's Bommel

Bommel Pouf

I recently found MYK's Bommel, and the colorful pieces certainly put a little spring in my step. However, as long as I have cats and kids, I'll probably never be able to own pieces like these, but oh what delightful eye candy.

Bommel = pompom, and MYK's Bommel furniture is handcrafted using individual pompoms that are bundled, rolled, and cut. This is a labor intensive process, as there are up to 1,300 individual woolen pompoms in a piece.

The pouf with roses is covetable. My dogs would have a party with the other designs.

The first one would be so fun in a kid's room.

I love this stuff, but what a cat hair magnet. And I'm afraid to ask what they cost.

Outrageous! Simultaneously wonderful and totally unrealistic! The photography is cool, though, with the bird and the bunny!

I hope these are pom-poms built into the substrate -- not glued on.
