Put this on your roof. I first saw this thing at ICFF in 2006, and I loved it. And given that it's the time to get outdoors, it's time to bust it out again and introduce any of you who haven't seen this thing...

Invented by Floris Schoonderbeek (b. 1979), the Dutchtub is a lightweight and portable hot tub that heats water the old fashioned way: with fire (and the fact that hot water rises). It is colorful, fun, effective and (to the best of our memory) doesn't cost a lot of money. And if you aren't quite ready to buy one and put it on the roof of your apartment building, you can even rent them first.
