Dee shared Carter's room with us and it's a colorful happy, personalized space. She tells us: I had so much fun designing my son's nursery, and I took inspiration from colors and designs I loved for myself and tweaked them for a nursery. I knew I wanted a feature wall that was bright and modern, and luckily my husband had the precision (and patience) to make it happen!
All of the paint came from Lowes(blues - Sea Wave, Seafarer and Beach Sparkle; greens - Green Gecko, Meadow Twilight and Parsley Sprig; brown - Cliveden Virginia Soil). We went through literally 28 shades of blues and greens for the squares on the feature wall!
We're currently working on our daughter's nursery which will have one wallpapered wall (bright pink, white and silver print) and three silver walls!
Thanks, Dee and Carter!

I am always so disappointed when I see a room I think I am REALLY going to enjoy only to click "read More" and there are no actual pictures of the room. Only pictures of objects in the room.
I love the colors but really would love to see how the entire room was put together.
really fun elements. would love to see more photos. especially the orange chair. where did you find it?
love the colors but I agree, I want to see more!
Poor Carter's UglyDolls are put away, up high. My son adores his and sleeps with 4 or 5 of them nightly! Love the orange chair tho!
I agree and would LOVE to see more pictures.
I love the room. Great use of colors on your accent wall and the orange chair works so well too. Can you please post some additional pictures ?
Great room! Another request for full tour!
Thanks for the comments on Carter's room! I'll see what I can do about getting more photos. To respond to your comments and questions:
Betsy: The orange chair is by Nurseryworks. I found it 50% off from http://www.modernnursery.com.
pbzoe: The Ugly Dolls were neatly displayed when Carter was an infant, but that didn't last long! He plays with them constantly (he's 16 months old now). Overall the room isn't quite as neat as it was for these photos!
I hope to submit photos of my daughter's room soon as well!
Thanks again,
Dee
