This month, the Apartment Therapy bloggers plan to design a few "dream bathrooms". We'll be pulling pieces from anywhere and everywhere to build a room that we'd love to have in our homes...and as in all things dreamy, price and availability are of no concern. My room, therefore, is based around my long standing love for de Gournay wallpaper and a mix of old and new.
Items from my dream bathroom, shown above:
Top row, left to right:
1. Dream room collage
2. Ottocento Tub - a modern version of a traditional cast iron clawfoot tub designed by Benedini Associati for Agape
3. Handpainted Chinoiserie Wallpaper by de Gournay
4. Missoni Keith Towels in Black available at Safari Living
5. Antique Chinese Black Lantern with Gold Cloud Finials available at Pagoda Red
Bottom row, left to right:
6. Hatbox Toilet by Kohler
7. Rectangular Multi Panel Mirror from Graham & Green
8. The simple Ottocento sink, also from Agape
9. Kaa Shower Hardware by G. Gianturco for Agape
10. Slate floor tiles in dark gray

I love this bathroom! The wallpaper rocks and I love the description of traditional meets modern for this; that's my taste exactly. Love the floor tiles too--very clean and simple. I also love that mirror and the lamp shown there, but that company is a) British and b) a bit pricey for me right now. Any US versions of that mirror or ones that aren't so dear?
I would love that wallpaper, but probably not in an entire room. I'd probably love it as an accent wall or using it in art pieces.

that's a hot.. tub.
It's one of the wallpapers I am considering as an accent wall for our bedroom, behind the bed. I am actually wondering about upholstering the wall with fabric -- if only I could find someone in town skilled enough to do it. The other colourway I am considering is a delicate greenish blue shade.
Love the bathroom style board you have put together!
oh please post some cool modern towel holders/rings/hangers please!!!
we're in a standstill and can't find any that are special and cool (and chrome!)
thank you!
