Faux Fire. In our many recent Gift Fair posts, we forgot to mention the Porcelain Firewood from Brooklyn-based KleinReid! Good thing we stumbled across it on Unica Home this morning! The highly detailed matte porcelain logs, sticks and rocks are beautiful in person and would make the perfect decorative accessory for an unworking fireplace...

The "Campfire" set includes three logs, five rocks and a stick costs $700. The "Wood" set includes three logs and a stick and costs $450. Both sets are available from Unica Home.

You mean a non-working fireplace?
Three logs, five rocks, and a stick...and a can of white paint, $5.
$700! Yeah, I'm with AlmostAD on this one. DIY.
I think they would actually work best in a gas fireplace instead of decorative glass, etc. - where you can't exactly use a regular log painted white ;-). Otherwise I can't quite see it either.
eeeck - they are purely decorative and can't be used with a heat source.
Hilarious....who would buy this?
People who collect ceramics.
people whose trees grow money.
Who bought a silkscreen of a Campbell's Tomato soup can?
I love them but I wish i would buy them.... they would all laugh at me, Carol Ann!!
