Name: Lesley
Location: Chicago
Just finished feathering my new nest. When I moved to Chicago a year ago from a 3 bedroom house into a 1 bedroom apartment I had to work hard to bring some character to a blah new construction box.
Thanks, Lesley !

Wow, great job. I am not usually a huge fan of modern interiors, but I think this is beautiful and really well executed. I like that there is some femininity and softness, and that it is modern rather than mid-century modern. I love that there is so much art (and not art of the thrift store/I bought a $10 print variety) everywhere - it brings so much personality to the space. The space looks thoughtful, sophisticated, and relaxing at the same time. The kind of place where you could come home, put on some music, sip a glass of wine, and spend hours looking out those windows or gazing at art.
Outstanding from what I can see. Love that wall of faces.
the colors are muted but it's not at all boring. your place looks great. congrats!
Very nice. Interesting and vibrant without being overwhelming.
I love the tattooed receptionist-Awesome! Great job:)
lesley, I love your sofa! can you tell us where it's from?

a full house tour, please! :)
Looks fun and comfy! And what a great city view!
Yes, full house tour, please! Love, love, LOVE.
The wall of faces creeps me out - if there were more variety to the poses, I think it would work better.
However the tattoo lady is very cool, and I like the centrepiece arrangement - very clever.
Good to see---
Would love to see more.
Maybe you can point out what the art is?
Thanks
I love the sofa too!! I want to see this place as full house tour!

Your please looks gorgeous. I would like to see a whole tour. I love the artwork. Are you a photographer? That's genious how you have the large photo hanging by binder clips. I am also in love with your two green ceramic pieces on your table. Any information you can provide on the artwork would be appreciated.
Great job!
Sorry - your place looks gorgeous. Shouldn't be up so late.
great job.
Great job, Lesley. Can you tell us the name of the paint you used on the wall behind the sofa?
I agree with the first post by livc that this homeowner somehow managed to put a very pleasing stamp of subtle femininity on the modernist aesthetic here. Like everyone else who's commented, I would also like to see more of this home, if only to figure out just how she did that! Very nice.
I am in love! Pleeeease indulge us all with a full tour...we want to see more!
I LOVE the receptionist photograph! Could you tell us who the artist is ?!
I really love that dining room table! Can you tell me where you found it?
I love! Since seeing this post a couple years ago - I have been obsessed with The Receptionist! Does anyone know who the Artist is?
