Now that the holidays are over, we're getting excited for Canada's largest Interior Design Show, IDS12, at the end of January. Last year we loved the exhibition "Sibling Revelry," which showcased four living spaces constructed by Canadian sibling design teams. Another favorite was "Studio North," a show within a show of new works by independent Canadian designers and ateliers.
"Studio North" returns for its 10th appearance at IDS. This year brings the special exhibit "How Do You Live," a cutaway two-storey building with six rooms each designed by a different Toronto design firm. The exhibit highlights the international condominium development trend from the perspective of Toronto's designers.
Shown in the images are some of my favorites from last year's IDS11. Are you planning to attend IDS12? The show will run from January 26 to 29, 2012 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building, located at 255 Front Street West.
