Take a picturesque setting and add a mother's creativity and devotion and you get a gorgeous, memorable party. Stevie shares: I wanted to throw my daughter a party that she and her little friends would remember forever. When I spotted a forested area of my Aunt's property, I knew right away it would provide the perfect "magical" back drop for a Woodland Fairy party.
I am happy to say, that with some elbow grease, a couple sleepless nights & beautiful party supplies from Bake It Pretty, Shop Sweet Lulu, Layer Cake and Paper Source, I was able to give my little girl a very magical 100% homemade 3rd birthday party.
Thanks Stevie, magical indeed!
We love a good party! If you'd like to share the good ideas and photos from your child's celebration with the Ohdeedoh community please submit through the "My Party" submission form.

Absolutely perfect! Did you make the hanging decorations in the first photo? They are beautiful!
Homemade, but still looks so elegant. Expensive, even. =)

However, she makes kits that you can buy at both Michael's and Jo-Ann as well
:)
this is incerdible simple and beautiful!
what games did you play?.. curious...
gorgeous. where did you get the placemats? :)
I love love love this party! Did the mom make the tree stumps chairs or are those natural? Also, curious what are the little green rocks (?) on the place settings in the second pictures. Great job!
Beautiful!
Puacz: We didn't have any organized games. We rented a bubble machine, and the kids were content to run around in a sea of bubbles for about an hour. We did have a pull-a-pinata too...but the bubbles trumped the pinata and the kids could have cared less that we had it! LOL
AlisonCat: I made the placemats. It is hard to tell from the picture, but they were more like chargers then placemats. I just bought heavy-duty plastic plates from Party City and hot glue-gunned sheets of moss that I bought from Jo-Ann Fabric too them.
Ruthie144: My Aunt happened to have the stumps already in her yard. They had a large tree fall during the winter and had just chopped it up thinking that they would use it for firewood...but I rescued them before they did! The rocks are these cute moss covered peebles that I bought in a bag at a local craft store during Easter. I hot glue-gunned the butterflies to them. I was going to use them for place cards but ran out of time, so just stuck them on the plates at the last minute.
