My Room: O-Man

Omaha, NE

Michelle isn't a bit scared off by color as evidenced in her son's 'taste the rainbow' room. She shares: My goal for O's room was to create a space that was young, modern, and full of bright colors with handmade touches. I wanted something he could grow into, that wasn't "theme-y", and didn't scream baby!

Many of the things in the room were made by me---I think this is how my "nesting" revealed itself throughout my pregnancy. My house was never clean, but my sewing machine was always going. The space is fairly small, so it's filled only with the special things we love. The idea started with the colors aqua and orange and it evolved into the space it is now.
