Hidden Assets. The Shelflife series from Viable London began with Charles Trevelyan's bookshelf and/or room divider that hides a chair and footstool in the structure of the shelves — ready to pull out when needed. The Shelflife desk hides a desk and chair for those without dedicated space for a desk...

Made of low density MDF and available in lacquered white, eggshell blue or charcoal grey.

W-w-w-wow!!!!
The first shelf/chair/stepstool thing is just brilliant!
Not so much the black entertainment center though... (ugh!) I'd rather see a fireplace there than those extra pieces. What use is the largest of the small pieces even meant for?
I love the first one as a room divider, perfect for a studio or smaller spaces!
Is low-density MDF actually rigid enough to sit on? Book shelves of it need to be pretty short just to keep from bending.
