Food becomes such a focal point around the home during the holidays. We love the seasonal treats that only come around this time of year. Introducing new things is also a great way to develop your child's pallette. Persimmons are one of our personal favorites this time of year. Here's our favorite way to eat them...
We wait until they're really ripe, and then wrap them up and place them in the freezer. Then we defrost them in the fridge while we're eating dinner. When we take them out for dessert, we call it ice cream because of the creamy consistency and sweet flavor.
