The clever folks over at Creative Waste of California found this beat up old mailbox at the dump and decided to give it a new life as an umbrella holder. Check out the results of their DIY project after the jump...
The simple DIY
only required a quick sanding of the rusty areas followed by a thorough coating inside and out with rust-proof spray paint. A few decorative touches in the form of little blue "droplets" hint at the mailbox's new purpose holding rainy day paraphernalia. Not bad for the cost of a can of paint and a little elbow grease!
