Earlier this week we received a question about wall mounted tv's without extaneous wires, tuner boxes and components. This prompted a bit of a search and it turns out that back in January, Samsung announced a wireless plasma TV that brought the number of cables coming into the back of the television down to one. Ok, so it is not totally wireless but here us out on this one.

The wireless part comes thanks to the associated A/V center. This is a central box where all your wired components get plugged in allowing you to strategically place everything to fit the aesthetic of your space...up to 300 feet away. Using a wireless 802.11n connection, data from your components are then streamed via the box to the tv. Now all we need is wireless power.

Very cool. Samsung makes decent plasmas too. It would be nice to read about what loss there is, if any, to the video signal over 802.11n. I hate wires, but I hate a crap picture more.
The photo of the "no photos" image on the box is a nice touch...
"...here us out on this one." Aaah - you mean 'hear'? Spell check anyone?
Pambamboo - spell check wouldn't have caught that one.
