When did this happen? Catching up on our catalogs and summer sales, we checked the FLOR site and discovered Martha Stewart is collaborating with FLOR on nine new color families. This is something new for FLOR usually their catalog is organized by the specific carpet style and then broken down into color. By uniting various textures and patterns by color families, FLOR is really encouraging its customers to broaden their perceptions of mixing various designs. The new color families are very Martha, soft, earthy neutrals like Brook (above)...Acorn, Bisque, Ginger.
We've also noticed that FLOR is increasingly marketing the idea of cutting standard tiles to introduce thinner borders and stripes into the carpet tiles (notice the thin borders on the Bisque and Ginger photos above). While this was always an option, it is being encouraged more now that FLOR has been accepted by more consumers.
