MUJI Madness! Back in January, we floated the rumor that two MUJI stores were opening in New York. Then in March, it was announced that the first location would be a 5,000 sq. ft. space on 8th Avenue in the new New York Times Building. Today, via Racked and Crain's, we learn that MUJI has signed a lease for 10,000 sq. ft. at 455 Broadway, between Grand and Howard streets, in SoHo. This larger store is slated to open in late fall.
