Spanish hotel chain Room Mate gives the impression that staying in one of their rooms is like sleeping over at your stylish friend's apartment in a trendy corner of Madrid. All their hotels have first names: Mario, Lola, Oscar. They even go so far as to define the personalities of each hotel: "Laura" works at a publicity agency and has a passion for extreme sports. In addition to the bizarre (and very entertaining) personification of their hotels, Room Mate offers a lot of good ideas for small space decorating...

Wow. Love the door numbers.
I love the headboards at the Laura - they remind me of those in the suites aboard Costa Romantica
I think they just opened one in NY, I've been seeing billboards...
i love the black/white/yellow stripes!
We stayed at the Room Mate Alicia in Madrid and loved the design and small space ideas although the decor was a bit heavy on the IKEA.
I'm in love with the chairs at Lola! I want to say at one of these places!
