You may remember Joey, who sent in awesome pics of his newly renovated loft up in Boston last September (Post Your Baby: Joey's Off-The-Shelf Modern). Well, he's been breaking the place in and sends us pics from his party last weekend:

"Saturday night's affair consisted of 52 people in my loft. Family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and their guests flowed in and out. The food was done by the caterers of "Nanny, Mum, my sister and my aunts" and the bar is the work of my father and myself. The bar is actually a shelf system I designed, and replaces the previous shelving that was there in my 'Post your baby' feature.

This design is a lot more flexible, and not as heavy as the first one. The shelves can be moved to accommodate any pieces or, in this case, function.

If you notice in the pictures there are a couple of red signs. I had a couple of games running, including "Guess the # of ornaments on the tree" and "Guess the holiday soda flavor". In addition my mum brought a couple of Holiday "I Spy" books for the coffee table for people to try their vision at.

I tell ya though, the hardest part of the party was making sure I got go talk with everyone there. I think I said the phrase "please excuse me for just one minute"--and never came back--52 times, one per guest.

I apologize for the varying exposures and light conditions; I was trying to capture the lighting as best I could. Everything was very dim and I ended up putting about 30 tea lights in glass cups around the space as well.
